Jerry Lundgren
Massage School/Year Graduated: School of Orthopedic Massage/2006 (began at Bodywise Therapeutic Massage as a student intern in 2005)
Professional Background: Jerry has a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State. He also spent 28 years with General Motors, primarily as a district sales manager.
What prompted you to work in this field? “I wanted to help people. I enjoy helping them and seeing what I’m doing positively benefits their well-being.”
Specialty: Deep tissue (neuromuscular/myofascial therapies), shoulder and leg work. Jerry uses hot stones not only for relaxation, but also as a tool to aid in therapeutic recovery.
Personal life/hobbies: Jerry is very active in his Episcopal church’s activities. He also enjoys quilting, and is the Education Chair for the Michigan Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association.
