Terry Hirth Caldwell
Massage School/Year Graduated: Terry began her training in 1987 in alternative therapies, and graduated from massage school in 1991.
Other Degrees/Certifications: Since 1992, Terry has been nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork (NCTMB), with advanced certifications in neuromuscular and myofascial therapies.
Professional Background: Terry has over 20 years of experience in alternative health care. She is also an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association, having served as the Michigan Chapter vice president for two years and President for 6 years. She also served in various roles on the national level, including national board member for 7 years and standing committee chair as well as many other committees and work groups.
What is her specialty? Terry has specialized training in Reiki, sports, neuromuscular, and myofascial massage therapy. She maintains a focus on overuse injuries of musicians. In addition to “hands-on”, Terry also does life coaching sessions with an emphasis on balance and wellness.
Personal life/hobbies: In addition to running a wonderful massage therapy clinic, Terry is very involved with her family and especially all of the sports that her son is involved in. Walking her dog Zoey, enjoying nature and reading are some other hobbies.
Fun Fact: Terry is an avid Pistons fan! As is her Great-Aunt Carol who is in her 90′s!
